It was spring of 1995 when our small station in Riga, Latvia was established, initially with two people. Since then a lot has changed and although maritime activity continues to go through its cycles, in all those years we have found ourselves gradually though constantly expanding.

The DNV station in Riga, Latvia is primarily involved with ships in operation, newbuilding construction projects, and certification of materials & components activities. Our team of dedicated surveyors has broad technical experience, and this is complemented by their diverse cultural experiences. At the same time, our technical staff frequently attends vessels or projects in all three Baltic States.

Our aim is to serve all local clients as well as any vessels calling all nearby ports in the best possible way and to continue offering the wide range of DNV Maritime services with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
